The Wellington Doc Edge Forum offers three masterclasses from established, professional filmmakers from Australia, Canada and the USA. They will share their creative and strategic approach to documentary filmmaking, with each masterclass focusing on each filmmakers' unique area of expertise.

The day’s programme is designed to give mid-level screen industry professionals the opportunity to upskill in both practical filmmaking techniques and strategic audience engagement.

Masterclasses:
Alexandre O. Philippe (CH/USA) - Documentary Screenwriting
John Walker (CAN) - The Cinematographer as Filmmaker
Rebecca Barry (AUS) - Impact Producing

The Doc Edge Forum will conclude with networking drinks at the Roxy Cinema.

On the same day, "Memory: the Origins of Alien" (dir: Alexandre O. Philippe) will be screened at The Roxy at 8.30pm. The Wellington Forum registrants will also grant admission to this screening.


Please note:
* There is no parking in Park Road Post. Registrants are advised to utilise on-street parking.
** Forum Pass includes morning/afternoon teas and lunch.
*** There is a photography ban within Park Road Post.
